Babysitting Classes...
American Safety & Health Institute
Child and Babysitting Safety Course
This two-day course prepares people age 11 and
older for the challenge of babysitting. Instructors review
techniques for caring for children from birth to age 6. The course focus includes accident prevention, CPR, first-aid
for emergency situations, and personal, home and child safety. The program
also
addresses a babysitter's responsibilities and play activities for each age group.
The American Heart Association CPR Anytime
program is included with this course.
Students will learn CPR and be able to take the kit to their
families who can become trained in CPR in the comfort of their own
homes.
Participants must attend both dates for babysitting certification.
NOTE: Children may bring a snack to eat during the class break.
Lunch will not be provided.
