Babysitting Classes...
American Safety & Health Institute
Child and Babysitting Safety Course
This course prepares people age 11 and
older
for the challenge of babysitting. Instructors review
techniques for caring for children from birth to
age 6. The course focus includes accident
prevention, CPR, first-aid
for emergency
situations, and personal, home and child safety.
The program
also
addresses a babysitter's
responsibilities and play activities for each age
group.
The American Heart Association CPR Anytime
program is included with this course.
Students
will learn CPR and be able to take the kit to their
families who can become trained in CPR in the
comfort of their own
homes.
NOTE: Lunch will not be
provided. Children should bring a
bag lunch, drink and snack.
Location:
The location of a class is listed below. Classes
held at Grand
View Hospital (GVH) will take place
in their community room.
Classes held at North Penn Visiting Nurse
Association (NPVNA) are in
the Board Room at
51 Medical Campus Drive in Lansdale.

least one (1) week
prior to the class. If payment is not
received, we
will assume you are not attending and will give your
place to the next waiting student.
